I found out yesterday that there is a ferry about twenty minutes from where I am living- I'm photographing it all weekend for an article running on Monday. When I went there the first time, there were a number of passengers waiting, including myself. This boy passed the time by playing around on the dock. I passed the time by taking pictures of him.

Swim Championships

Photographed the Community Gardens in Harrisburg today- 372 plots, most of them being used this year for $10.00 a plot per year. Some have been working the same plots for twenty years, others, like Brian and Liea, is their first year of gardening here. I talked with the couple for a while about gardening, Vanagon meetups, and Phish concerts. All in all, it was a good afternoon.

Last Friday Night...

... was crazy. I shot nightlife for the paper, hung out in front of clubs with a reporter until 3 in the morning, was assaulted, got away uninjured, decided not to press charges, made some decent photos, all in no particular order.

For my assignment tonight, I had to photograph people who owned a boat on the Susquehannah- it was a beautiful night for boating.
