Two Things
First of all, James Hill is Amazing (this is from his Circus Series)
Second of All, Trent Parke published his first book in ten years, through Alec Soth's Little Brown Mushroom, called, Bedknobs and Broomsticks. From what I've seen of it, it's beautiful. And like Scott Brauer said today on DVAFOTO, "I’ve already ordered my copy; I’m not letting this one get away like Dream/Life, 3 used available at Amazon starting at $849.99."

Jubilee Days
Lacey Stewart, 13, laughs as Norman the cow licks her face while Josh Logue, 11, watches while volunteering at the petting zoo at the Mechanicsburg Jubilee on June 17.
Children (Davin Scheitrum, 7 at middle, Kellen Taggart, 3 at right) play inside the bounce castle at the Mechanicsburg Jubilee on June 17th.
Mechanicsburg, a small-ish town close to Harrisburg, hosts a day-long festival on the second or third Thursday in June once a year- and about 60,000 people show up. I was told to cover the event however I wished for the day, and it was great to experiment with merging what my editor would want with what I like- here are two of the photos I submitted.

First Day
Today I drove to Dauphin, Pennsylvania, a town outside of Harrisburg, so I could move in to my room at the Ryan household. The place has a beautiful view of the river, a pool, four horses, three golden retrievers, and a nondescript number of kittens, along with a large number of people living together.
I start working for the Patriot News on Thursday, so tomorrow I will explore and run some errands. But for now, I'll keep unpacking.
I like my room, it suits me well.
