I found this from the Conscientious photo blog, and the description on Conscientious was far more interesting than the actual article itself- which is almost as dull, boring, and morbid (not to mention extremely dense and filled with name dropping and few examples), however, I do like this quote:
why is "fine art photography is so frequently dull and distasteful, so paralyzed by moribund subjects and forms?"because I do agree on that in many cases. Photography has not nearly exercised it's full potential as an art form, but can't the author of this article say this in a better and more innovative way than was done? I don't exactly know, any thoughts?
